Coming Home To Your Body

a weekend of rest, reconnection, and self-trust for women

April 24-26, 2026

Himalayan Institute Honesdale, PA

$299 plus accommodations

Note on accommodations: While rooms with private en-suite bathrooms are sold out, the remaining rooms use nearby hallway bathrooms that are fully private, single-user spaces (not dorm-style), each with it’s own toilet, shower and sink. If you are in need of a room that is directly across from/adjacent to a restroom, please let me/HI know. Thank you!

So many of us live in our heads - managing, pushing, fixing, and holding it all together. This retreat is an invitation to soften that grip and come back into relationship with your body, gently and on your own terms.

Over the course of a nourishing weekend, we’ll combine education, embodiment, and joyful sisterhood. Together we will:

  • Experience deeply restorative practices — gentle yoga, somatic awareness, yoga nidra

  • Enjoy playful and liberating sessions like sensual movement and a sisterhood bonfire

  • Pull back the curtain on the history of diet culture and its impact

  • Explore how to support wellbeing at every size through the lens of Ayurveda

Your Himalayan Institute Experience

Nestled on a 400-acre campus in the Poconos, the Himalayan Institute offers everything you need for rest and renewal:

  • Peaceful lodging in rooms designed for true rest (rooms start at just $120/night for a shared room w/ hallway bath, options all the way up to deluxe suites, meals included with every room option)

  • Nourishing vegetarian meals served buffet-style, with vegan and gluten-free options available

  • Sacred practice spaces, including the Sri Vidya shrine for meditation, yoga classrooms, and serene hiking trails

  • Wellness and community amenities, from optional treatments at the PureRejuv Wellness Center to a cozy tea lounge, a café, and bookstore

What You’ll Take Home

  • A calmer, more regulated nervous system

  • Practical tools for grounding when stress, self-criticism, or overwhelm arise

  • A deeper sense of trust in your body’s cues and needs

  • The experience of being held in a non-judgmental, body-affirming space

  • A renewed connection to yourself that extends beyond the weekend

This retreat is rooted in somatic awareness, trauma-informed care, and compassionate self-inquiry. It is designed to be spacious, supportive, and free from pressure or performance.

There is room for rest.
There is room for softness.
There is room for you.

If your body has been asking for a different kind of care - one that doesn’t require pushing, proving, or perfection - this weekend is an invitation to listen.
